I thought this would be a good place to talk about the new stories, since it is labeled as such, hehe. To see new stories go to the new (i.e. mirror) Niklas site and press on the button labeled "links/new stories". To see the very newest stories, go to the bottom of the page and click on the pointing hand that says "next" that says new stories under it.

I am planning to write some new stories myself, but am torn between making individual, relatively real-world short stories, or combing them all into a grand epic like one that James and i originally planned that would put Niklas and friends into their greatest adventure of all time. I even drew a promo scene for it some time ago. I'll see if i can attach it here. I have to use the new Firefox to try btw; even doing what you said with the old one has proved ineffective, Eidan. Ugh! Well, THAT wasn't very successful apparently. Anyway, it's the same picture as the one in my (Perry's) gallery titled Niklas new Adventures 1. The one with the dinosaurs and the fantastical setting. Essentially, the epic story would involve a young genie (or an adolescent Q) causing Niklas and friends to find reality shifting all around them to experience strange new worlds - some out of fiction based on their favorite book, movies, tv shows, and such - while basically granting them all their secret wishes (Niklas would acquire an older brother for instance; perhaps Keith would even meet his deceased father one more time)for a summer. Does this appeal to anyone, or should i stick with simpler, more original-reality based stories (IOW with the comic stories the only canon with no aliens except as a make-believe game and no fantasy?

I personally would find this interesting as long as you allow me to play with this idea somewhere sometime (as in why didn't i think of that?, lol. Not here though... Maybe some day when I'm old and have grandchildren.) Seriously though, I think it would be interesting.
I also remind people that adding to magical or sci-fi stories in no way reduced the amount of realistic stories. They are usually two different genres written by two different authors. There would just be more stories for everyone.
For those who don't know, Perry is very prolific, producing large quantities of text and art. He continued contributing when most of the rest of us were busy with family work and health issues, and nobody else could.... in spite of some health issues of his own by the way. His plots tend to be well thought out.

I would really like to read the 'fantastical' version story, but I would also like to read the 'realistic' type stories, which I usually prefer. It's a hard choice... I would like both...
I've just read two chapters (as for now the only two) of the "Out of the dark" story . I really like the style of it, It's in the 'conventional' non-fantastic type that reminds me of the first time when i found the Niklas And Friends page. As for a quite young age of mine, I'm a very sentimentalistic being...
uh, I'll better go to sleep, I'm to tired even to write an message tonight..

Hey guys My first post! So, I'm Eddie, M40, and I write fiction as a hobby. About 6 months ago, I came across Niklas' work. What a writer. It is a shame he stopped; but now I am writing a follow up to one of his stories, Heimweh (Homesick). Fabian was upset at the end of that story, at losing Patrick I think, although it's not specifically mentioned. I am carrying that into "Wieder zusammen" (Together again). A bit cliché maybe, but Fabi's essentially fallen to pieces without Patrick; maybe it's hit him deeper than he thinks...I will keep you posted Nice to be here!

Welcome here Schneehase! Sounds good. I'm sure the community would welcome it. Also, I'm an editor and I'm also an artist, so just in case you would like any help with a few illustrations for your stories, feel free to let me know.

Welcome to our little web haven, Schneehase.
If you wish to discuss your stories with other writers in semi-private, let me know and I'll make you an Editor too.
Editors have access to a special forum where you can discuss story ideas without revealing "spoilers" to the general readership.

Thank you both for the welcome! I would very much like it if you could make me an editor please, Jonathan. That way I could start passing some ideas forward for review and get some feedback from other people. My writing style may not be quite what Niklas could manage, but I hope my work goes down well here. Thank you once again :-)
